Welcome all! Starting this educational web log has been a dream close to my heart for some time and I hope that it will be, first and foremost, a resource for young artists and interested creative thinkers who are looking to expand their notions of storytelling’s potential. I have been teaching college visual arts students about the potential of creating new icons and stories to mythologize modern society for over a decade, and it has been with the sincere hope that I can assist the younger generation in their own growth as artists and storytellers. It is a responsibility that I do not take lightly, as it is my sincere belief that the young artists of today are the future shapers of global culture. The art, icons and stories that they create, will be the force behind the big ideas and grand ideals that shape our collective future.

Unfortunately, the obstacles of access, opportunity, and location have made my ability to communicate outside of the corporations and colleges I work with rather limited. That is why I am dedicating myself to making this educational web log an opportunity to share the discussions, approaches, and ideas that are the lifeblood of the classrooms and conference rooms that I have enjoyed teaching and conversing in.

In addition, this will be a place to exhibit difficult to find storytelling and concept art that I often show in my classrooms at Montserrat College of Art and RISD.
